Domestic benchmark indices were trading flat with outperforming sector being the BSE Auto Index.

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex up around 30 points or 0.05% at 61,061.50, and the Nifty trading up by 17 points or 0.06% at 17,944.75. About 1,684 shares have advanced, 1,535 declined, and 170 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Reliance Industries, Maruti Suzuki and Bharti Airtel whereas the top Sensex losers were ITC Ltd, Hindustan Unilever and L&T Ltd.

The BSE Auto Index was the top gainer on a sectoral basis, while the BSE Power Index was the top loser. The BSE Auto Index rose 0.69%, led by Eicher Motors and TVS Motors while the BSE Power Index fell 0.75%, dragged by Adani Transmission and Adani Green Power.
