Domestic benchmark indices were trading lower with BSE Metals Index trending among all sectoral indices.

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 291 points or 0.50% at 57,946.89 and the Nifty trading down by 102 points or 0.59% at 17,053.95. About 932 shares have advanced, 2,327 declined and 122 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were L&T Ltd, Tata Steel and Ultratech Cement whereas the top Sensex losers were Bajaj Finance, HCL Technologies and Tech Mahindra.

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE IT Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Metals Index soared 0.15%, led by Tata Steel and National Aluminum while the BSE IT Index was down 1.55%, dragged down by Allied Digital Services and Xelpmoc Design and Tech Ltd.
