Domestic benchmark indices were trading down with outperforming sector being BSE Metals Index.

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 318 points or 0.52% at 60,364.29, and the Nifty trading down by 94 points or 0.53% at 17,762.75. About 1,299 shares have advanced, 1,950 declined, and 177 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Titan Ltd, L&T Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were State Bank of India, Infosys and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.

The BSE Metals Index was the top gainer on a sectoral basis, while the BSE IT Index was the top loser. The BSE Metals Index rose 0.65%, led by National Aluminum Ltd and Jindal Steel Ltd while the BSE IT Index fell 1.54%, dragged by Coforge Ltd Newgen Software Technologies Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Midcap index down 0.38% and the BSE Small cap index down 0.31%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Oil India and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, while the top small-cap gainers were Dishman Carbogen Amcis and Sintex Plastics Technology.
