Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.50% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.75% 

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 125 points or 0.21% at 62,045 and the Nifty trading up by 28 points or 0.15% at 18,339. About 2,168 shares have advanced, 1,016 declined, and 156 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were NTPC Ltd, IndusInd Bank and HCL Technologies whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel Larsen & Toubro.
 

The BSE Power Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Capital Goods Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Power Index soared 1.06%, led by Adani Transmission and CG Power while the BSE Capital Goods Index was down 1.50% dragged down by Larsen & Toubro and Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd.
