Domestic benchmark indices were trading flat with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.07% and the BSE Small cap index up 0.16%. 

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex up around 65 points or 0.12% at 61,827 and the Nifty trading up by 70 points or 0.38% at 18,330. About 2,025 shares have advanced, 1,330 declined, and 146 are unchanged on the BSE. 

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Power Grid Corporation of India, IndusInd Bank and Bajaj Finance whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Steel, Infosys Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.

The BSE Energy Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Telecommunication Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Energy Index soared 2.14%, led by Oil India and Asian Energy Services while the BSE Utilities Index was down 0.50% dragged down by ITI Ltd and Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.07% and the BSE Small cap index up 0.18%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were ICICI Securities and Varun Beverages while the top small-cap gainers were Bliss GVS Pharma Ltd and Igarashi Motors India Ltd.
