Domestic benchmark indices were trading higher and BSE Metals Index trending among all sectoral indices.

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 334 points or 0.57% at 59,295.99, and the Nifty trading up by 110 points or 0.65% at 17,413.15. About 2,337 shares have advanced, 822 declined, and 144 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows
The top Sensex gainers were Axis Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra and State Bank of India whereas the top Sensex losers were Power Grid Corporation and HDFC Bank.

The BSE Metals Index and BSE Commodities Ltd were the top gaining on the sectorial indices. The BSE Metals Index soared 1.91%, led by Hindalco Industries and National Aluminium while the BSE Commodities Index was up 1.56%, led by Indo Amines and Adani Enterprises.

The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Midcap index up 0.85% and the BSE Smallcap index up 1.09%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Adani Power and Yes Bank Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Alok Industries and Rupa & Company Ltd.
