Penny Stock Update: These stocks gained up to 20% on Monday

On December 20, the Indian equity market closed down on a negative note. BSE Realty is the top loser down by 6.08% in today’s trade.

On the first trading of the week Indian equity market closed deep down in red. Besides, all sectoral indices closed with a negative mark.

In today’s trade Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex indices closed deep in red down by 371.00 points i.e., 2.18% and 1,189.73 points i.e., 2.09%, respectively. Stocks that supported BSE Sensex to pull the index up were Hindustan Unilever Ltd and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. Stocks that dragged the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 down were Reliance Industries Ltd, HDFC Bank Ltd, HDFC Ltd, Bajaj Finance Ltd and ICICI Bank Ltd. The BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 Index opened down by 0.87% and 0.95% respectively from their previous close.

In Monday's trading session the S&P BSE Realty, S&P BSE Enhanced Value Index, S&P BSE Oil & Gas, S&P BSE Metal, S&P BSE Diversified Financials Revenue Growth and S&P BSE PSU were top losers. BSE Realty index consisting of stocks such as Macrotech Developers Ltd, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd, DLF Ltd, Brigade Enterprises Ltd, Sunteck Realty Ltd and Oberoi Realty Ltd were the top losers.
