Low Price Shares locked in Upper Circuit on 20-Feb-2023

Domestic benchmark indices were trading flat as BSE Information Technology Index outperformed sectoral indices.

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex up around 58 points or 0.10% at 61,060.09, and the Nifty trading up by 2 points or 0.0070% at 17,945.85. About 1,537 shares have advanced, 1,759 declined, and 194 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers On BSE Sensex Index are as follows: 
The top Sensex gainers were Tech Mahindra, Bharti Airtel and Power Grid Corporation whereas the top Sensex losers were State Bank of India, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Nestle India.

The BSE Information Technology Index was the top gainer on a sectoral basis, while the BSE Oil & Gas Index was the top loser. The BSE IT Index rose 0.85%, led by Sonata Software and Happiest Minds Technologies while the BSE Oil & Gas Index fell 0.65%, dragged by Hindustan Petroleum and Adani Total Gas Ltd.
