List of Top Gainer Penny Stocks: These stocks gained up to 20% on Thursday December 16

On December 16, the Indian equity market closed on a positive note. BSE Information Technology is the top gainer whereas BSE Power is the top loser in today’s trade.

After the Indian equity market closing on a negative note in all trading sessions since Friday today, it managed to close on a positive note. Besides, some sectoral indices closed with a negative mark, whereas some sectoral indices closed with a green mark.

In today’s trade Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex indices closed up by 27.00 points i.e., 0.16% and 113.11 points i.e., 0.20%, respectively. Stocks that supported BSE Sensex to pull the index up were Infosys, Reliance, Bajaj Finance and Titan Company. Stocks that dragged the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 down were ICICI Bank, HDFC, Maruti Suzuki and SBI. The BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 Index had opened up by 0.78% and 0.88% respectively from their previous close.  

The S&P BSE Information Technology, S&P BSE Energy, S&P BSE TECk and S&P BSE Consumer Durables were top gainers. BSE Information Technology consisting of stocks such as Suvidhaa Infoserve Ltd, Allsec Technologies Ltd, Cerebra Integrated Technologies Ltd and Brightcom Group Ltd were the top gainers.  

In Thursday's trading session the S&P BSE Power, S&P BSE Utilities, S&P BSE 250 Smallcap Index and S&P BSE Midcap were top losers. BSE Power index consisting of stocks such as Torrent Power Ltd, Tata Power Company Ltd, Adani Green Energy Ltd and Adani Transmission Ltd were the top losers.
