This large-cap power generation company’s operating renewable portfolio reached 8,024 MW

The fourth wind-solar hybrid power plant from Adani Green Energy (AGEL), the Adani Group's renewable energy division, is now fully operating in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, and the asset has been capitalised. This recently installed hybrid power plant has a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with a total operating generating capacity of 700 Megawatts (MW).

This brand-new hybrid power plant combines 510 MW of wind power with 600 MW of solar electricity. To generate the most power possible from solar energy, the most recent hybrid plant uses cutting-edge renewable technology including bifacial solar PV modules and horizontal single-axis trackers (HSAT) systems.

The plant is co-located and has the greatest CUF of any renewable project in India, with a minimum CUF of 50%. By addressing intermittent generation, the plant maximises the potential of renewable energy and offers a more dependable way to satisfy the expanding demand for electricity. At 2,140 MW, AGEL's operating wind-solar hybrid portfolio continues to be the biggest in the world.

With the 700 MW project, the largest wind-solar hybrid power plant in the world, successfully operationalized, AGEL now has the largest operating renewable portfolio in India with 8,024 MW. The facility is hosted by Adani Hybrid Energy Jaisalmer Four Limited, a 100% subsidiary of AGEL.

Promoters hold 60.75%, whereas institutional and non-institutional holdings are 16.54% and 22.70%, respectively. Presently, the market cap of the company is Rs 89,022.63 crore.
