Hinduja Global Solutions’ arm acquires entire stake in TekLink International

The acquisition will strengthen the company’s digital solutions business by adding enhanced expertise.

Acquisition of TekLink International

Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) subsidiary, HGS CX Technologies has completed the acquisition of TekLink International, Inc for USD 58.8 million, subject to earnouts and other customary and agreed-upon adjustments. TekLink International Inc. provides full-service financial planning and analytics to over 60 clients in industries ranging from consumer products to retail, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and distribution, utilities, and high technology. TekLink is based in Warrenville, Illinois, and has offices in Europe as well as delivery centres in Hyderabad and Indore, India.

The acquisition will strengthen HGS' digital solutions business by adding enhanced expertise in data platform development, analytics, and financial planning. It will also add complementary digital workforce bench strength, with 275 seasoned technology and implementation professionals joining HGS as part of the transaction. HGS' digital solutions business currently employs over 750 core technology and digital marketing experts, primarily in the United States and India, who are transforming customer experiences (CX) for leading brands.

Stock price movement  

On Wednesday, the stock opened at Rs 1304.05 and touched a high and low of Rs 1310 and Rs 1302 respectively. The BSE group 'A' stock of face value of Rs 10 has touched a 52-week high and low of Rs 1698.15 and Rs 847, respectively. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1316.95 and Rs. 1295.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 6869.39 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.59%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.67% and 19.74% respectively.
