Top 10 Penny Stocks Gainers Today - March 30,2022

Today NIFTY MEDIA was the best performing index and NIFTY METAL was the worst-performing index.

Indian equity market rose for the third day in a row. Nifty 50 closed in the green with a gain of 172.95 points. It opened at 17468.15 against the previous close of 17325.30, which means a gap up of 142.85 points. Finally, it closed just a shade below 17500. Overall, more stocks closed in green.

In today’s trade the best performing index was NIFTY MEDIA it was up by 2.28%. This is followed by NIFTY FINANCIAL SERVICES 25/50, which was up by 2.04%. The worst performing index in today's trade was NIFTY METAL, down by 2.17%. Out of the total 15.0 companies forming part of the index, 10.0 companies closed in red, and 4.0 closed in green.

Companies that supported Nifty 50 in today’s trade were 'Reliance Industries', 'Bajaj Finance', 'HDFC Bank', 'ICICI Bank' and 'Bajaj Finserv' together they contributed around 118.27 points gain in index. While the companies that dragged the index were 'Tata Steel', 'ONGC', 'Hindalco ', 'ITC' and 'JSW Steel'. These companies contributed 43.05 points towards the fall of Nifty 50.  

Overall market today was in favour of advances. At close advance to decline ratio stood at 314:170.
