Penny Stocks Locked in the Upper Circuit on March 31,2022

At 1 pm on Thursday, headline indices Sensex and Nifty were trading higher amidst uncertain global cues but positive domestic cues, and falling crude oil prices.

The Sensex was at 58,739.62, up by 55.6 points or 0.09%, and the Nifty was at 17,518.60 up by 20.25 points or 0.12%.  

The top gainers in the Sensex pack are Mahindra & Mahindra, Asian Paints, Axis Bank, HUL, and Bajaj Finance. Whereas, the top five losers were Reliance Industries, Infosys, Wipro, Bharti Airtel, and Power Grid Corporation of India.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading at 29,784.30 and is up by 0.65%. The top three gainers of the index were Godrej Industries, AU Small Finance Bank, and Page Industries. Each of these scrips was up by more than 3%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index include Ipca Labs, Ajanta Pharmaceuticals, and Zee Entertainment Enterprises.

The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 10,464.50, up by 0.97%. The top 3 gainers of the index are Edelweiss, Birla Corporation, KEI Industries. Each of these scrips was up by more than 5%. The top stocks pulling the index down were CSB Bank, Future Retail, and Sunteck Realty.

On the sectoral front, except for Nifty IT, Nifty Pharma, Nifty Healthcare, Nifty infra, and Nifty PSU Bank, all the other sectors were bullish.
