Penny Stocks Locked in the Upper Circuit on Jun 27, 2022

Nifty around 15,850, Sensex gains over 450 points; led by metal and IT stocks. Wall Street indices rebounded strongly on Friday despite fears of inflation and tightened monetary policies. The Dow Jones Industrial Average soared 2.68% while S&P 500 surged 3.06%. The Nasdaq Composite also jumped by 3.34%, led by mega-cap stocks.

Following is the list of penny stocks locked in the upper circuit on June 27. Keep a close eye on these counters for the upcoming sessions.

Tracking a similar trend, Indian domestic indices opened higher today. At 11:40 am, the Nifty 50 was trading at the 15,859.30 level, rising by 1.02%. On the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers were UPL Ltd, Hindalco Industries Ltd and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation whereas; Apollo Hospitals, HDFC Life Insurance and Divis Laboratories were the top losers of the session.

Sensex was trading at a level of 53,235.03, advanced by 0.96%. The stocks trading in the green were Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies and Larsen and Toubro Ltd. Kotak Mahindra Bank was the only dragger of the opening session. Glittek Granites Ltd and Nilachal Refractories Ltd were the top gainers on the BSE as both of these surged over 17%.

The rupee appreciated 6 paise to 78.27 against the US dollar. Crypto market was trading with mixed cues amid soft volumes. Bitcoin and Ethereum fell over 1% each. On the flip side, Dogecoin zoomed 11% as supported by Elon Musk.
