Low Price Shares locked in Upper Circuit on September 12

The domestic markets have been trading quite positively on Monday led by IT, metals and realty stocks. 

At 12 pm, Sensex was 441.57 points or 0.74% up at 60,234.71 level whereas Nifty added 132.20 points or 0.74% trading at 17,965.50 level. Adani Ports, Tech Mahindra, Titan Company, Infosys and Axis Bank were the top Sensex gainers whereas Coal India, Dabur India, HDFC, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and Mahindra and Mahindra were the top Sensex losers.

On the sectoral front, all the sectors were trading positively, with the BSE IT, BSE Consumer Durables and BSE Realty indices gaining the most as compared to their sectoral peers. Some of the top realty stocks comprised Oberoi Realty, Brigade Enterprises and DLF whereas the top IT stocks were Aurionpro Solutions, Datamatics Global Services and Vakrangee. 

In line with benchmark indices, the broader markets were trading higher with the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices advancing 0.83% and 1.02%. Hindustan Aeronautics was the top performing midcap stock, which zoomed around 4.1%, hitting a new 52-week high price during the first half of the trading session whereas Aurionpro Solutions was the top performing small cap stock, jumping 11.86%. 

Among the other stocks, the shares of Happiest Minds Technologies gained beyond 2% on the announcement regarding the expansion of its Noida facility increasing its delivery capacity and leveraging the area’s diverse high-technology talent pool. With the additional facility, the company will have a capacity of 450 in the NCR region.
