List of Top 10 Penny Stocks: These Shares Gained Up To 10% on Tuesday, February 22

The Indian market closed in red for the fifth day in a row on Tuesday. All the sectoral indices of Nifty closed in red in today's trade. Nifty AUTO saw the least fall, while Nifty Media saw the worst fall.

The geopolitical risk spooked the Indian equity market which closed on a negative note for the fifth consecutive day. Besides, all the Nifty sectoral indices ended in red.

In today’s trade, Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex indices closed down by 114.45 points i.e., 0.67 and 382.91 points i.e., 0.66%, respectively. Despite strong support from stocks like HDFC, Bajaj Finserv, M&M and Kotak Mahindra Bank the indices were dragged down at the end with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Tata Steel SBI and Reliance Industries pulling the index down.

Among NSE equity indices, Nifty AUTO Index and Nifty Healthcare Index fell the least and were down by 0.16% and 18%, respectively. An upward movement from MRF, M&M, BHARAT FORGE, HERO MOTO CORP, EICHER MOTOR, TVS MOTOR, BOSCHLTD helped the Auto Index to gain while fall in share prices of EXIDE IND, BALKRISHNA IND, TATA MOTORS dragged the index.

In today’s trade, NIFTY PSU BANK, NIFTY SMALLCAP 250, NIFTY MICROCAP 250, NIFTY REALTY, NIFTY MEDIA are top losers. Companies such as HATHWAY, NETWORK18, TV18BROAD CAST, ZEEL were the worst performers among Nifty Media.
