The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 10,020.95 up by 1.81%. The top 3 gainers of the index were Welspun India, Quess Corp, and TV18 Broadcast. Each of these scrips was up by more than 6%. The top 3 stocks pulling the index down are KEC International, Kajaria Ceramics, and FDC Ltd.

The sectoral indices on the Nifty were trading flat, recuperating the lost levels from the last trading session. Contrarily, Nifty Realty and Nifty Media were up by more than 2% and Nifty Oil & Gas was down by 6.80% as the crude oil prices rise to hit a 7-year high on the bourses.
