The Sensex was at 56, 411.66, down by 74.36 points or 0.13%, and the Nifty was again at 16,853.10, down by 18.20 points or 0.11%.  

The top gainers in the Sensex pack are Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Finserv, UltraTech Cement, and ICICI Bank. Whereas, the top losers are Tata Steel, Infosys, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tech Mahindra, and Power Grid Corporation of India.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading at 28,404.95 and is up by 0.49%. The top three gainers of the index were Indiabulls Housing Finance Company, Prestige Estate, and AU Small Finance Bank. Each of these scrips was up by more than 5%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index down were Jindal Steel, SAIL, and Oil India.

The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 10,212.65 up by 0.32%. The top 3 gainers of the index are Linde India, Happiest Minds Technologies, and TV 18 Broadcast. Each of these scrips was up by more than 4%. The top stocks pulling the index down are Balrampur Chini Mills, BASF, and GNFC.

Looking at the sectoral indices, Nifty IT, Nifty Metal, Nifty PSE are down by more than 2%, whereas Nifty Nifty Realty and Nifty Auto are up by more than 1.5%.
