List of Penny Stocks: Penny Stocks Those Were Locked in the Upper Circuit on Tuesday, March 08

At noon on Tuesday, headline indices Sensex and Nifty were trading flat amidst weaker global cues, as Russia’s attack on Ukraine still continues in the second weak, with no hopes of a ceasefire from both parties.

The Sensex was at 52,502.09 down by 340.66  points or 0.64 %, and the Nifty was at 15,782.45 down by 80.70 points or 0.51%.

The top gainers in the Sensex pack are NTPC, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and Sun Pharmaceuticals. Whereas, the top losers are Axis Bank, Maruti Suzuki, SBI, Tata Steel, and Asian Paints.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading at 26,934.25 and is up by 0.25%. The top three gainers of the index were Mahanagar Gas, Gujarat Gas, and Tata Power. Each of these scrips was up by more than 6%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index down were Adani Total Gas, JSW Energy, and Navin Flourine International.

The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 9,626.45 up by 0.77%. The top 3 gainers of the index are Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals, Kaveri Seeds, and VIP Industries. Each of these scrips was up by more than 5%. The top stocks pulling the index down are Jubilant Ingrevia, Sunteck Realty, and Aegis Chemicals.

On the sectoral front, the Nifty indices were mostly trading in the green territory, except for Nifty Auto, Nifty Metal, Nifty Financial Services, and Nifty Private Bank, which were trading at a discount of more than 1%.
