List of Penny Stocks: Penny Stocks Those Were Locked in the Upper Circuit on Monday, March 28

At 11.45 am on Monday, headline indices Sensex and Nifty were trading lower due to weaker global cues including a spike in the Covid-19 cases and the discovery of new variants in China.

The Sensex was at 56,946.10, down by 416.10 points or 0.73%, and the Nifty was at 17,033.1 down by 119.85 points or 0.70%.

The top gainers in the Sensex pack are Bharti Airtel, ITC, IndusInd Bank, Maruti Suzuki, and Reliance Industries. Whereas, the top five losers were HDFC Ltd, Dr.Reddy’s Laboratories, Nestle India, HDFC Bank, and HCL Technologies.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading at 29,056.85 and is down by 0.71%. The top three gainers of the index were Tata Elxsi, Adani Total Gas, and Indian Hotels Company. Each of these scrips was up by more than 5%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index include Dhani Services, Container Corporation of India, and Escorts Ltd.

The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 10,209.05, down by 0.93%. The top 3 gainers of the index are PVR, GNFC, and Chambal Fertilizers and Chemicals. Each of these scrips was up by more than 4%. The top stocks pulling the index down were Future Retail, Welspun India, and Firstsource Solutions.

On the sectoral front, only BSE Metal and BSE Oil & Gas indices were in the green today, whereas BSE Consumer Durables, BSE Finance, BSE IT were down by almost 1%.
