List of Penny Stocks: Penny Stocks Those Were Locked in the Upper Circuit on Friday, March 11

At 11.30 am on Friday, headline indices Sensex and Nifty were trading higher as the crude oil price plunged and is trading at USD 109 per barrel and lesser selling from the FIIs.

The Sensex was at 55,568.43 up by 104.04 points or 0.19%, and the Nifty was again above 16,000 points at 16,621.90 up by 27 points or 0.16%.

The top gainers in the Sensex pack are Sun Pharmaceuticals, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Bajaj Finserv, Axis Bank, and Power Grid Corporation of India. Whereas, the top losers are Maruti Suzuki, HUL, Mahindra & Mahindra, Nestle India, and NTPC.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading at 28,033.05 and is down by 0.04%. The top three gainers of the index were Laurus Labs, Bank of Baroda, and Tata Elxsi. Each of these scrips was up by more than 2%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index down were Dalmia Bharat, Manapuram Finance, and Ashok Leyland.

The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 10,145.10, up by 0.78%. The top 3 gainers of the index are MCX India, CDSL, and GNFC. Each of these scrips was up by more than 6%. The top stocks pulling the index down are Future Retail, Sonata, and IOL Chemicals.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading flat with Nifty Pharma, Nifty Media, and Nifty Healthcare being up by more than 1%. Whereas Nifty IT, Nifty Auto and Nifty FMCG were dragging the Nifty pack marginally.
