List of Top 10 Penny Stocks: These Shares Gained Up To 10% on Monday, February 07

Today, the Indian market closed down with a red mark. BSE Utilities Index is the top gainer whereas BSE Finance is the top loser.

On the first trading day of the week, the Indian equity market continued to close down on a negative note since Friday. The majority of sectoral indices also closed lower.

In today’s trade, Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex indices closed down by 302.70 points i.e., 1.73% and 1,023.63 points i.e., 1.75%, respectively. Stocks that supported BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 to pull the index up were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, State Bank of India Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd. Whereas, stocks that dragged BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 down were HDFC Bank Ltd, HDFC Ltd, Bajaj Finance Ltd and ICICI Bank Ltd.

Among BSE equity indices, S&P BSE Utilities, S&P BSE Power, S&P BSE PSU and S&P BSE Enhanced Value Index are top gainers. BSE Utilities consisting of stocks such as Reliance Infrastructure Ltd, NLC India Ltd, Reliance Power Ltd, Nava Bharat Ventures Ltd, Adani Green Energy Ltd and Adani Power Ltd led the pack.

In today’s trading session, S&P BSE Finance, S&P BSE Capital Goods, S&P BSE BANKEX and S&P BSE Sensex 50 were top losers. BSE Finance consisting of stocks such as Ujjivan Financial Services Ltd, Indian Bank, Home First Finance Company India Ltd, Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd, Dolat Algotech Ltd and Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd were the top drags.
