In a society, the kids playground was ruined and required some serious fixes. So their parents jumped in this case to get it solved as soon as possible.
But it was so expensive that no family could afford to pay for the repairs. And neither did the association had funds for the same.
The kids didn't give up and decided to contribute with their own savings.
They paid so everybody could use the park. Seeing the kids dedication everyone got involved.
In a way everyone made a common contribution so that they could utilise the playground, just like taxes.
Taxes are mandatory contributions levied on individuals or corporations by a government entity—whether local, regional, or national.
Taxes finance government activities such as - public lighting, public schools, roads, police and hospitals etc. Taxes fund Public services.
They are scaled according to everyone's ability to pay and benefit everbody.
